STEREOSONIC: One Man Dies, Another Man Critical After Adelaide Festival


One man has died after being treated by paramedics at Stereosonic festival in Adelaide today.

After receiving treatment at Bonython Park, the man was taken to the Royal Adelaide Hospital, where he later died. 

The age and identity of the man is currently unknown.

Police were able to confirm that the man had taken illicit drugs, and supplied a photo of pills they believe the man may have taken.

Another man is in a critical condition at the RAH after suffering similar symptoms. 

The man’s death comes only a matter of days after Sylvia Choi died at the festival’s Sydney leg, and less than a week after Victoria’s Rainbow Serpent Festival announced their push for pill-testing onsite.
