Some Virgin At Apple Made ‘Lardass’ Autocorrect To ‘Kardashian’

Those of you tethered to the Apple overlords will be intimately aware that your iPhone can do some pretty weird things when it comes to it having a good ole’ crack at guessing what you’re trying to type.

Some of it is downright brilliant, like the fact that it will automatically put the umlauts in Mötorhead for you.
Some of it is a little bizarre, like the fact that if you just push the middle word suggestion over and over you end with the sentence “The fact I can get it right away and with a lot more fun and addicting and I don’t think that is not an issue.”
And then there’s some that’s downright cruel/unfortunate.
For whatever reason – maybe it’s an Apple employee secretly absolutely sick of their media saturation, or perhaps it’s just due to an unlucky quirk of the QWERTY keyboard layout – it’s been discovered that when you type in the word “LARDASS,” the iPhone ponders whether or not you actually meant “KARDASHIAN” instead.
‘Course it’s more than likely a keyboard quirk – what with K being the next key over from L, and the first six letters of both words being virtually identical.
Still. Come on, Apple. Quit ‘aving a laugh, would you?
