Ay, Caramba – Sofia Vergara is heading to Springfield.
The Modern Family alum has recorded a guest spot as Bart’s new teacher (R.I.P Mrs Krabappel) for an upcoming The Simpsons ep, to be called “Teenage Mutant Milk-Caused Hurdles“.
We know this much: after Bart starts drinking a milk substitute filled with bad hormones, he experiences early puberty and grows a moustache – as well as feels in his loins for Sofia’s “very good looking” character Mrs. Berrera.
Here’s your first look at her character, sketched by the show’s creator and cartoonist Matt Groening.
As well as sending Bart’s hormones into a spin, Mrs. Berrera captures the attention of lonely Principal Skinner, and a scramble for her attention ensues.
The Simpsons’ exec producer Al Jean says Sofia was “really funny” and that he’s left the door open for her to return in future episodes.
As you’ll know if you’re a die-hard Simpsons lover, Bart is down a regular teacher after the actress who voiced Mrs. Krabappel passed away in 2013.
Sofia’s ep will air in SEASON FRIGGIN’ 27, come September.
