Snoop Interrupts Regular Weed Posting To Rep Greens MP Larissa Waters

If you’re an aficionado of rap legend and veteran weed-lover Snoop Dogg‘s social media presence, you might have noticed something a little peculiar on his Facebook page today.
Namely that he linked to this article, about our very own Greens senator Larissa Waters becoming the first woman to breastfeed in Federal Parliament
The article, by a site called Healthy Way, details the facts of Waters’ precedent-setting act: that her daughter, Alia, is 10 weeks old, that she was hungry, and that she needed to be fed while Waters was moving a motion calling for action on black lung disease.

And apparently Snoop… digs that? It’s hard to tell whether he’s pro- or anti-parliamentary breastfeeding, considering the entirety of his commentary consists of the words, “yall seen dis?
Disappointingly (but not unsurprisingly), many of the mouth-breathers commenting on said post are firmly in the “tits are for fun, not food” camp, to which we say: jog on, dickheads.
For once, Aussie parliament is getting attention for something worth being proud of – last year they passed a law last year allowing parents to continue to parent while serving in parliament:
“No member, male or female, will ever be prevented from participating fully in the operation of the Parliament by reason of having the care of a baby.”
So yes, Snoop, we’ve seen dis, and we’ll take your acknowledgement as approval.
Ta.
