A third member of the Morrison Government has confirmed they have returned a positive test for COVID-19.
NSW Liberal Party Senator Andrew Bragg this afternoon confirmed he had coronavirus, after suffering flu-like symptoms in recent days.
Senator Bragg, who entered the Upper House in July last year, said he attended a wedding at Stanwell Tops on March 6th. The popular wedding region has reportedly been liked to a handful of positive cases over the past handful of days.
In a post to social media, Senator Bragg confirmed he did indeed have coronavirus, and is now isolating himself in-line with guidelines laid out by NSW Health.
I am following the guidelines set by NSW Health and will isolate myself. I thank St Vincent’s Hospital Sydney for their support & care.

Bragg is the third member of the Morrison Government to return a positive test result for COVID-19.
Yesterday, Queensland LNP Senator Susan McDonald confirmed she returned a positive test result for coronavirus.
On Friday, microwaved potato head Peter Dutton also confirmed he’d contracted COVID-19 after a trip to the United States in which he shook hands with, of all people, Ivanka Trump.
Dutton, for what it’s worth, has today been discharged from hospital and is at home isolating with his dog, Ralph, who looks absolutely fucken stoked about the whole thing.
I’ve been discharged from hospital and am at home self-isolating with my dog Ralph. Thank you for all the kind messages, I’m feeling much better. pic.twitter.com/00D6ZORHBs
