At this point, any politician or public person should know better than to hold up a sign. Thanks to the magic of photoshop, this never ends well for the person in question.
We’ve seen it happen to countless celebrities, most notably, Donald Trump. But somehow, in 2020, Scott Morrison was still dumb enough to do it.
In today’s press conference amid the ongoing coronavirus health and economic crisis, Scott Morrison held up an isolation declaration form and as expected, Twitter had a field day with it.
For context, this is Scott Morrison on Friday holding a sign, looking particularly passionate.
As expected, it took mere minutes before the internet went wild with this glorious image.
Some pointed out the truth, that he is a fucking useless potato.
@ScottMorrisonMP you should know better than to hold up a sign in this post-Photoshop world we live in pic.twitter.com/YyBB39y02A

While others poked fun at the truly wild hairdressing laws that we’ve been flip-flopping over all week.

Of course, it didn’t take long for Engadine Maccas jokes to be made. I mean, our Prime Minister did shit his pants in public, we simply MUST joke about it every chance we get.

Dozens of Twitter users made their own photoshopped versions of this iconic shot.

But the one that truly takes the cake comes from Tom Scott, who kept it short, sweet and simple. Poo poo wee wee, indeed.

So let this be a lesson to us all, do not let yourself be photographed holding up a piece of paper. Somebody WILL photoshop it, and you WILL be holding a sign that says “poo poo wee wee.”
