Wanna Score Tix To See The Pope’s Exorcist? Tell Us Which Celebrity You Wanna Be Possessed By

So today I made the mortal error of clicking on a trailer for The Pope’s Exorcist. I cannot do scary movies like that, I’m too much of a baby when it comes to anything involving spirits or demons or ghosts or ghouls or ghastly apparitions. But if you’re not a baby, then this movie is for you.

The movie comes out in cinemas on April 6 and stars our very own Russell Crowe (sorry New Zealand but we’re taking him back). It’s set in one of the most beautiful cities on the planet, bellissima Roma, or “Rome” for you English-speaking devils. Seems Russell Crowe and blockbusters set in Rome’s past are a match made in heaven — or hell, given The Pope’s Exorcist’s subject matter.

The Pope’s Exorcist will showcase Mr Crowe in a way you’ve never seen him before as he makes his debut in the horror space. And what a way to do it — there’s nothing scarier than horror movies based on actual events.

You heard me, the movie is inspired by the actual files of Father Gabriele Amorth, Chief Exorcist of the Vatican (Russell Crowe), and follows him as he investigates a young boy’s possession, and subsequently ends up uncovering a centuries-old conspiracy the Vatican has desperately tried to keep under wraps.

To keep the Aussie connection going, the movie is directed by Julius Avery, of Overlord and Son of a Gun fame.

Excited? Well, I have good news. You could win a double in-season pass to see the film in cinemas! And all you have to do is woo us with your wits, and by that I mean tell us which celebrity you’d like to be possessed by.

Why do we wanna know? It’s a secret, and it goes way up to the top (the Vatican). Personally, I’d love to get possessed by the rat from Ratatouille in time for my next date night in. Imagine having that power in the kitchen!

I digress. Enter below children. And remember, don’t drink your holy water all at once, it’ll give you indigestion.
