Russian Nanny Charged With Murder After Parading Child’s Severed Head

In news based on actual events, Russian police have arrested – and charged with murder – a woman caught brandishing the severed head of a child outside a Moscow train station.
Authorities wrestled her to the ground after she stepped onto the platform, an incident caught on camera by passerbys but footage PEDESTRIAN.TV has chosen not to share because of its extremely disturbing nature.
It does show the still-unnamed woman wandering around holding the three or four-year-old’s head high in the air yelling: “I am a terrorist, I want your death” in a heavy Russian accent.
Investigators believe the woman was working as a nanny for a local family, murdering the young child in her care before setting fire to the family’s flat and doing a runner.
Unsurprisingly, several sources are reporting that she was under the influence of psychotropic drugs.
Moscow’s investigative committee confirmed in a statement that they’re currently testing her mental health.
“Given the clearly inadequate behaviour of the detainee, investigators swiftly ordered her to undergo psychiatric tests to establish whether she is capable of understanding the significance of her actions,” it read.
Our thoughts are with the family of that poor child.
