Russell Brand Takes Aim At Tony Abbott, Australia’s Refugee Policy

Russell Brand, whose rants are nothing short of legendary at this point, has taken to YouTube to offer a rebuke to Prime Minister Tony Abbott and Australia’s refugee policy.

“Anything where people are sent into camps makes me nervous,” he began, cricitising our government’s “anti-immigration mentality” and refusal to let journalists into detention centres.
He also laid into Rupert Murdoch and his business practices, arguing that global corporations treat the world as “borderless”, while doors are slammed in the faces of the economically disadvantaged.
