Rihanna Rightfully Shut Down Her Abusive Ex’s Thirsty Instagram Bullshit

If there’s one person we’re not okay with posting thirsty tweets on Rihanna‘s Instagram, it’s Chris Brown.

To refresh your memory, back in 2009 Chris was charged with physically assaulting Rihanna. Chris was subsequently sentenced to gaol time, community service, counselling and a restraining order.

So when the convicted abuser decided to leave a seedy comment on one of Rihanna’s Instagrams the internet went IN on him.

For context here’s Rihanna’s post, showing the RiRi looking sexy as ever, lying topless on her bed while promoting her new Savage x Fenty Christmas range:

Aaaaand here’s a screenshot of Chris’ comment:

While his comment wasn’t long, his use of the blushing emoji says it all.

Naturally, RiRi’s fans came for Chris in the comment section:

“@chrisbrownofficial GET THE FUCK OUT OF HERE” one fan wrote.

“@chrisbrownofficial somebody need to remind you why you can’t even visit this page little boy?” another added.

“@chrisbrownofficial please please please leave just please nobody asked you here nobody wants you here this isn’t for you just please please leave”.

Shortly after Chris posted his comment, Rihanna then posted a very telling Instagram Story.

The story in question includes an extract from the Bible with lines highlighted and underlined for emphasis.

These quotes seem particularly pointed:

“There may be times when it seems that you cannot go forward, but at least you do not have to go backward.”

But it gets heavier, with this intense reference to overcoming the devil:

“Instead of passively yielding to the enemy, you can say, ‘This is the ground I have gained, and I am not giving it up, devil. You are not driving me back into the hole that God pulled me out of. I am going to stand strong in the power of God until He delivers me.’”

In short, the extract is basically the biblical equivalent of telling someone, “not today, Satan”.

Say it, RiRi.
