An intrepid 7 News reporter has uncovered a dangerous new craze sweeping the dance parties and music festivals of the fair city of Melbourne – nitrous oxide, better known by its street names of ‘laughing gas‘, ‘nang’, ‘bulbs’, ‘the scourge of Night Owl clerks’, and ‘that dumb shit your mates have been doing for literally years at this point.’
The somewhat-out-of-date report has since been shared thousands of times on Facebook and mocked mercilessly. ICMYI, whipped cream bulbs – “so popular they’re now being sold online”, you guys – are sweeping the Melbourne party scene, and are probably making their way to your city as we speak. Symptoms include convulsing on the couch and being so 2002.
