Rest Easy, TLC Have Reaffirmed Their Opinion On Scrubs A Full 18 Years On

A fair few things have changed in the eighteen years since TLC unleashed Scrubs, a track which defined the fuckboy before that term was even coined. Scrubs themselves haven’t evolved, though. Not one bit.
The iconic act has confirmed as much via Twitter, of all places. Comedian Paul F. Tompkins, the bloke you probably know as Mr Peanutbutter from BoJack Horseman, sought clarification on the issue and was amply rewarded.

Seeing as the internet is the internet, and not even R’n’B luminaries are safe from gentle jostling, others piled on to the impromptu Q&A sesh.

We’ve also received an important update on the etymology of “buster.” We’ll be sleeping a lot easier knowing this one hasn’t changed too much.

The whole deal coincides with the act’s return to, uh, actually making music. They’ve just released the music video for their nostalgia-filled Way Back; while that one is still annoyingly geoblocked, the lyric video still gives you the idea.

It also features one of Snoop Dogg’s best feature verses in recent memory. Buster-free, this one.

There you go. TLC are still active, still making music, and still entertaining goofy-ass questions on the timeline.
