Reports Of 12 Dead, 20 Injured, In Mass Shooting At US Disability Centre

Police are right this minute responding to ANOTHER horrific mass shooting in the US, this time on a centre for people with developmental disabilities in San Bernardino, California.

At least 12 people have reportedly been killed and dozens more wounded by the shooter, who opened fire at the Inland Regional Centre, which serves people with developmental disabilities.
Local media is reporting there may be up to three shooters armed with rifles, but all authorities will say at the moment is that there’s an “active shooter” who’s heavily armed and possibly wearing body armour.
Police at the scene are also responding to reports of a bomb being left inside the centre, which has prompted evacuations of other buildings in the immediate area.
Dozens from inside the centre are also being evacuated, as family and friends wait anxiously to hear of any news.

This one father received a text from his daughter, who works at the centre, saying “Pray for us”.

It’s less than a week after a gunman killed 3 people and wounded 9 in a shooting rampage at Colorado Springs’ Planned Parenthood clinic.
If you want a really disturbing picture of America‘s gun culture – which has led to 994 mass shootings in 1,004 days, not including this one – The Guardian is running a visual tally of lives lost, and people injured.
