Report Confirms Apple Is Already Developing Driverless Cars

An exclusive report from The Guardian has officially confirmed what we all suspected to be true: tech giant Apple is currently developing driverless cars in Silicon Valley, as a likely competitor to Google’s fleet of self-driving car prototypes also in development stages.

The future is now, people.

According to The Guardian, the rumoured driverless car project by Apple has progressed further than previously expected, as the (codenamed) Project Titan is presently looking to test the fleet at a private, former Naval Base in San Francisco.

Furthering that, Apple CEO Tim Cook has reportedly been in talks with car manufacturers as early as last year.

Google’s self-driving fleet has been approved for testing on public roads in San Francisco – documenting a series of near-accidents and human error accidents in recent months.

In Australia, the first driverless cars to take our roads will be tested this November in Adelaide, according to The New Daily.

And if Silicon Valley has taught us anything, this development can only end well.
