Honestly, who DIDN’T see this coming?
Since Kanye West dropped his video for ‘The Life of Pablo‘ track ‘Famous‘, there’s been a helluva lot of people gunning for him.
From Taylor Swift, who obviously wasn’t too happy about her wax figure inclusion in the video, or the opening line of the song (“I feel like me and Taylor might still have sex, I made that bitch famous“), to the plethora of celebrities who the rapper created nude likenesses of for his video.
Amber Rose was reasonably annoyed that Taylor got a phone call asking for permission about the lyric, but she didn’t receive a phone call asking for her permission to use her image.
Chris Brown seemed to be shocked, but kinda sorta a little bit stoked:
But no one’s response was anticipated more so than Kim Kardashian‘s ex-boyfriend (yes, the one from her sex tape), Ray J.
On the red carpet of the BET Awards, he told Entertainment Tonight that he wished he’d been left out:
“Man, I’m just trying to stay positive. I’m engaged. My marriage is all messed up ’cause of craziness. I’m not part of nothing crazy.My fiancee tripping. It’s all bad in my world, and that ain’t cool.”
Ray J‘s manager was slightly less emotional and much more, erm… mad as hell:
“If they didn’t show Ray J with his dick in Kim Kardashian’s mouth, then tell Kanye to go back and reshoot that shit.Tell that n***a he’s a long way from Chicago; he’d better watch his motherfucking mouth.”
YIKES.
And now, what we all assumed was going to happen, has happened.
Ray J has released a responding diss track, also called ‘Famous‘, very obviously aimed sniper-style for the heads of Kanye and Kim.
And shock horror, Chris Brown also features on it.
The lyrics are… how you say… not exactly subtle.
I told the judge, right hand to the sky,It wasn’t me, I’m not that type of guy,She fucked me for fame, look at her eyes,She was the first one to sign on the line.She was the one who planted it out,Look at the family they walk around proud,All because she had my dick in her mouth.

It’s a bit of a low blow dropping this on the same day that Kanye cancels his tour due to severe stress and exhaustion, partially because Kim recently had her life threatened, but hey – no one gets into rap to be Miss Congeniality, I guess.
Savage as fuck.
