Rapper Troy Ave Has Been Arrested Over That Fatal Shooting At A T.I. Show

After yesterday’s news of the awful shooting at the T.I. concert at Irving Plaza in New York City, rapper Troy Ave has been arrested.

New York Police Department released this footage of the rapper opening fire at the venue during the performance of Maino and Uncle Marda – T.I. had not yet appeared on stage.

Please be warned, this footage is graphic and may distress some viewers:

He is being charged with weapons possession and reckless endangerment. Detectives are currently waiting for ballistics evidence to see if he’ll face additional charges, which could include murder.
One man has died in the shooting, and 2 others were injured. The 33-year-old man who passed away after being shot in the stomach was Ronald McPhatter, a long-time friend and bodyguard of Troy Ave.
Another man was shot while downstairs away from the alleged fight. He was hit in the abdomen, but is expected to make a full recovery. A 26-year-old woman was also shot in the leg, and was taken to hospital in stable condition.
Police have said that Troy Ave was also injured, shooting himself in the leg.
Police are currently unsure if there was another shooter or not. Five 9mm casings were retrieved from the scene.

We will update this story as more details arise.
