After much speculation, Minaj has personally confirmed the pair’s ‘dunzo’ status via her Twitter account.
For months of 2016, tabloids were quite certain that the two had split (despite Nicki having discussed potentially getting engaged only months earlier), especially when the pair unfollowed each other on Instagram, and also when Nicki captioned an Instagram photo with an incredibly directed message to Meek:
“Thank God u BLUEit. Thank God I dodged the bullet. I’m so over u. Baby good lookin out. #BestThingUNeverHad”
Her tweet today reads:
