QLD Man Jailed After Stealing Credit Card From Dying Car Crash Victim

A Queensland man is poised to take out the title of Australia’s Shittest Bloke after nicking a credit card from the wallet of a man dying at the scene of a car crash.
Yeah, you read it right: late last year in Hervey Bay, 28-year-old Shannon James Davis stole a credit card out of car crash victim Matthew Clark‘s wallet, while bystanders tried to save the guy’s life.
Quick, look at these cute animal friends before you lose the will to share the planet with the garbage we call humanity!!
Davis then went on to use the Clark’s card to buy a bunch of booze and other junk. Police say he used the card at least 11 times. The theft was only discovered when Clark’s widow had his wallet returned to her, and she realised the card was missing.
Davis was sentenced this morning in the Hervey Bay Magistrates Court to 18 months in jail, of which he will serve six months. His friend Shannon Rosina Tubb is also implicated in the theft, and will face court on February 16.
Phew. That is some soul-hollowingly depressing shit. Robbing someone literally dying in front of you has got to mess with the balance of good and evil, right? Maybe go do something nice for someone.
