QLD Dad Hugs The Man Charged W/ Killing His 9 Y.O. Son By Drink Driving

Well, this one’s tough.

The father of Josiah Sisson, the 9-year-old who died after being hit by a car in Brisbane on Christmas Day, has been pictured hugging the man charged with causing the tragedy.

The images from Wednesday night show Pastor Karl Sisson embracing Adrian Murray, the 24-year-old who was charged yesterday for causing Josiah’s death by drink driving.

Murray had met with Sisson and his wife Donna Sisson after they invited him to the prayer service.
Pastor Peter Field of Potter’s House Christian Church said “what happened was at the end of the service was that [Murray] along with his friends and some family turned around and saw the father of Josiah.”

“He collapsed into Karl’s arms and he was brave enough and manly enough to catch him and treat him courteously.”
Previously, the family said they would be willing to forgive the man accused of causing their son’s death.
Murray will face court again in early February.
