PSA: IKEA Just Dropped A Range Of Festival Swag & It’s Hella Decent

IKEA is life, so we teamed up with them to tell y’all about a lil’ something they’ve got in the works. Find out more below and keep your aesthetic strong by following IKEA on Insta HERE.

Scandinavian design lords IKEA are foraying into homes of the mobile variety (aka camping) for all you nomads who can’t bloody stay put.

Basically they’ve clued on to our obsession with festivals and are catering 2 U a la Destiny’s Child circa-2005, with camping gear including:

  • flasks
  • cushion covers
  • doona covers
  • bean bags
  • mugs
  • cups
  • bowls
  • trays
  • storage boxes
  • towels
  • stickers
  • tents
  • blankets
  • lap top tablet cases
  • tote bags
  • lunch boxes
  • thermo mugs
  • note books

The range – called SPRIDD – is the result of a collaboration with British men’s fashion designer Kit Neale and is dropping into stores this week. As the go-to destination for furniture it makes sense, however, is still a surprising turn of events.

IKEA’s Creative Director, Henrik Most, said:

In many ways, fashion designers create a toolbox that helps us create our own identity and how we want to be looked upon. Here we, as a furnishing company, can definitely learn a lot.

“SPRIDD is our way to make everyday life easier and

more fun when you live a life on the move.”

If you regularly find your camping sitch at festivals a lil’ mundane after the OTT monstrosities on-ground, you’ll froth.

Psychadelic bebb

The designs are loud enough to make even Gorman get nervy, and in true IKEA fashion it’s all chic and practical, as well as being redonkulously affordable ($3.99 – $79).

Oh IKEA, you’ve done it again – so well, in fact, that you should probably call McCain and see if their slogan’s up for grabs.

You can check out the collection of perfection HERE before picking it up in NSW, QLD, VIC & ACT stores.
