Project 5 is easily one of the coolest ideas to ever blow through Sydney’s art scene. Getting four underground street artists to create one-off pieces at live art events which are then auctioned off for charity, Project 5, curated by the lovely folk at aMBUSH Gallery, is now onto its third installment. Featuring Kidzoom, Ghost Patrol, James Jirat Patradoon and Deb, the gig will be accompanied by groove-tastic sounds of the Futureclassic DJs and likely go off as these thing are wont to do, before moving back to aMBUSH for exhibition and eventual auction on March 3.
The last Project 5 raised $15,000 for charitable arts and media organisation Information & Cultural Exchange (I.C.E) in Western Sydney to support young artists and emerging talent, as well as creative projects with disadvantaged communities.
