Princess Charlotte’s First Day Of School Ponytail Regret Is My Everyday Mood As An Adult

Princess Charlotte, aka the 4-year-old who is infinitely wealthier than I will ever be in my whole entire life, started school today. And like me every time I have to make a phone call or do any adult task, she looked nervous as heck.

Charlotte, the second child of Wills and Kate, is fourth in line to the throne. I know that sounds like she’ll never be Queen Charlotte, but it’s not quite that simple.

Charles is first cab off the rank, but he’s already old AF so even if he does manage to pull a stint in the big chair when Lizzie calls it quits, it won’t be for long. Then she’s just gotta ride it out while her dad runs the show, and hope that her brother runs off with Wallace Simpson or something, then she’s got a clear shot at being the top dog.

But back to the first day of school stuff.

Charlotte is attending the same school as her brother George,  St Thomas’ school in Battersea. Although it sounds fancy AF, it’ll only set you back $34,354 per year, which really isn’t much more than an elite private school here in Australia.

Kate and Wills even dropped the kids off at school, proving that the next generation of British royals are relatable AF. I mean, if you call a morning drop off with a  perfect blow dry relatable.

William and Kate sure produce some cute kids, both George and Charlotte both waved to the paps, pulled faces and just acted like the bubbly children they seem to be. Honestly, it’s a nice change from the dullness that the royal family has always been.

Look at Charlotte instantly regretting her hairstyle. If that’s not my mood every time I look in the mirror when I get to work, I don’t know what is. A good ol’ fashioned case of the ponytail regrets.

It looks like Charlotte might regret letting her mum quickly chuck her hair in a ponytail while Kate rocked a perfect blowout.

The sass queen who waved at the paps like she was walking a red carpet got a little nervous when her Headmistress came to welcome her. I stan a future queen who is uncomfortable with any sort of confrontation. Why am I relating to a four-year-old so much?

Honestly, I am maybe a little too obsessed with the royal family, and I probably shouldn’t be relating this much to a four-year-old. But will I stop? No. Never. Princess Charlotte is my forever mood.
