PREPARE YOUR ARTERIES: Burgers By Josh Lands A Semi-Permanent Home

THANK THE BLOODY LORD.

Cult Sydney burger fave Burgers By Josh has found a new semi-permanent home and it’s a lot closer to the city than Annandale (no shade, but that’s a long way to go for a lunch time meat feed).

They’ve scored their first ever permanent venue (kinda) at the Prince William Hotel on William St in Darlinghurst, making this the first time ever BBJ has been available on a regular basis.

The eponymous Josh told PEDESTRIAN.TV: “We will be bringing the burger that started the pop-ups for me, the New Yorker, which I did about this time last year at my first ever pop-up at Harpoon Harry’s. We’ll also be bringing the highly popular menu from Annandale with the hacks menu as well.”

The New Yorker. Fucking drool

If you haven’t made it to a Burgers By Josh pop up yet, the burgers are next bloody level: past iterations include the meat lovers pizza x burger, the deep fried peanut butter fritter burger, and The Last Supper (Grain Fed Liverpool planes jack creek Angus smoked for 12 hours over Icon bark in a Texas style off-set smoker). He’ll be continuing the experimental burger theme once a week (probably on a Thursday), but a definite permanent is the ridiculously popular Jurassic fries.

Be still my clogging arteries.
So, yeah, about this ‘semi-permanent thing’. Burgers By Josh will initially be at the Prince William Hotel for two months, but Josh is scoping the place out to see if it’ll work for a long-term residency.
The venue – which has recently changed ownership – is undergoing renovations at the moment, so there’s no exact launch date… yet (we’ll keep you updated).
Opening hours are also tbd, but Josh tells us they’re aiming for a 3am close.

Think we’ve just found ‘ya new favourite late night feed.
