With just a few hasty words, Pooja Misra became a meme overnight in India and abroad. But it wasn’t until 2019 that the meme experienced a true renaissance.
As TikTokers started parodying the iconic altercation on season 5 of Bigg Boss (the Indian version of Big Brother), Pooja was once again thrust into our collective consciousness and had us all asking: what is this behaviour?
Now, the repeat reality TV star has made her own TikTok account with the intention of “refreshing, rebooting and restarting the trend.”
“Thank you so much for making ‘what is this behaviour’ an international viral clip,” she said, a full eight years after it first aired on TV.
“Join me as I echo your words – what is this behaviour Pooja?”

It’s a rough start, especially when you get the syntax of your own meme wrong, but who could blame her? Her mind was probably racing at a mile a minute during the IRL confrontation back in 2012, which has probably affected her memory of it.
So far, the clip has only received 19 likes, which is a far cry from some of the more viral iterations of the meme. But it’s surely only a matter of time before Pooja claws her way back to the top where she rightfully belongs.
Still no update as to whether or not she really did kick the bin by mistake, and no clarification as to how the other contestants were “mooching” off her.
