Were you in Fortitude Valley last night? Police need yo help, again.
Yet another unbelievably disgusting, violent assault has happened in Fortitude Valley, mere streets away from where Cole Miller was killed.
Queensland Police have released CCTV footage of the assault, where a 19-year-old was severely injured by two men. The graphic footage shows one of the men holding the man, while the other man repeatedly punches him. The first man then punches him in the face, before running off as people rush to help the victim.
The man was allegedly trying to break up a fight between two groups of men at the St Ann‘s taxi rank, after which, he was assaulted. He was taken to hospital with non-life threatening facial injuries, and has since been released.
One of the men (pictured in the white shirt) has handed himself into police, but they are searching for the second man. He is described as having long dark hair and an olive complexion, and was wearing a black t-shirt and dark coloured jeans.

Superintendent Peter Aitken said this about the assault:
“To draw any parallel to what occurred approximately a week and a half ago with Cole Miller and the incident last night, the circumstances behind these two incidents are very, very, different,”The victim is very lucky, the injuries he suffered are very minor. Having said that any assault on any person is very, very, serious.
Violence of any type is completely unacceptable.”
Police are urging anyone with information on the scumbag in the black t-shirt to come forward.
