
Manchester Police have confirmed that the explosion at the Ariana Grande concert at Manchester Area has left 19 people dead, with a further 50 injured.
They are treating it as a terrorist incident until they know otherwise.

Witnesses at the concert describe hearing explosions, which caused a stampede at the venue as people attempted to escape. Bomb squad vehicles and sniffer dogs were observed arriving at the scene alongside a procession of ambulances.

A representative for Ariana Grande confirmed the singer is “okay”.
