Plane Catches Alight After Crash-Landing At Dubai International Airport

An Emirates Boeing 777 flying from Thiruvananthapuram, India to Dubai has caught alight after crash-landing on the tarmac at Dubai International Airport.

All flights have been indefinitely suspended after the ‘incident’ with flight EK521 occurred at around 12:45pm local time, just before 7pm Australian Eastern Standard Time
Emirates have reported that 275 crew and passengers were onboard the flight:

But, thankfully, the official Dubai Government media office has reported that all 275 of them have been safely evacuated from the flight:

Lucky for the people on the flight to have gotten out unscathed, not as lucky for anyone reading this on a stopover at Dubai. Soz, bro.
