An Emirates Boeing 777 flying from Thiruvananthapuram, India to Dubai has caught alight after crash-landing on the tarmac at Dubai International Airport.
All flights have been indefinitely suspended after the ‘incident’ with flight EK521 occurred at around 12:45pm local time, just before 7pm Australian Eastern Standard Time.
Emirates have reported that 275 crew and passengers were onboard the flight:
There were 275 passengers and crew on board. Our main priority now is the safety and well-being of all involved.

But, thankfully, the official Dubai Government media office has reported that all 275 of them have been safely evacuated from the flight:
Emergency response teams have been activated and all passengers and crew have been safely evacuated.

Lucky for the people on the flight to have gotten out unscathed, not as lucky for anyone reading this on a stopover at Dubai. Soz, bro.
