Australian art galleries just keep on upping the stakes with the opening of more and more world class exhibitions each year. Today came the announcement that Picasso: masterpieces from the Musée National Picasso is opening at Sydney’s Art Gallery of New South Wales this November, and boasts the most significant exhibition of Picasso’s work ever to grace our shores.
With over 150 paintings, sculptures, prints and drawings by the artist, the exhibition has been curated by Anne Baldassari, general commissioner and president of the Musée National Picasso.
