Phwoooaarrrr, VB’s Released New Tinnies With Their Vintage 1958 Design

How’s ya thirst? IS IT HARD EARNED? FUCK YEAH, OF COURSE IT IS.
Which makes it pretty lucky that Victoria Bitter have decided to pull a real classy move, and released some brand new delicious tins of that sunshine liquid with a vintage can design.
The design on the VB tins is from 1958, and it celebrates the move to steel cans – because us Aussies wanted our beer cold, and we needed it to be colder for longer. It’s pretty bloody hot here, y’know?
The new babies have already hit shelves in Victoria, and a VB spokesperson has said that hundreds of thousands of slabs have been made, so they’ll be on sale for around 2 months.
So, everyone, raise ya tinnie and drink in celebration of tinnies. Because, O! Whither would one be be’est without the existence of the humble tinnie? I’ll tell ya – fucken nowhere. Now, sköl.
