Peter Dutton Confirms Abyan Will Return To Australia For Her Termination

The news that Australians who hold even a little empathy within themselves, have been waiting for is finally here: Abyan, the refugee who was allegedly raped on Nauru, will be returning to Australia very soon to have a termination.
Minister for Immigration Peter Dutton confirmed this at a press conference with Sky News earlier today. ABC journo Stephanie Anderson tweeted the news live from the press gallery:

While we recognise that this has been a truly horrific experience for Abyan – it’s obviously taken far too long, mainstream media made things worse by harassing Abyan and publishing op-eds on whether she was lying about the sexual assault (yeah we’re talking about you Chris Kenny, you absolute dickhead), and our government has put Abyan through some disgustingly horrendous things – we are mainly just relieved that she will finally receive the access to the basic service that she so desperately needs.
