25 Y.O. Man Pleads Guilty To Killing Five Family Members In Perth Home

A 25-year-old Perth man has pleaded guilty to the murder of five family members in September last year.

Anthony Robert Harvey today appeared via video link in Stirling Gardens Magistrates Court, where he formally admitted to killing his daughter Charlotte, aged three, his twins Alice and Beatrix, aged 2, his wife Mara Harvey, 41, and his mother-in-law Beverley Quinn, 73.

Harvey was accused of using blunt instruments and knives to murder his children and wife on September 3, and killing Quinn when she returned to the family home the next day.

He has remained under custody since he turned himself in to police on September 9 in the remote town of Pannawonica.

The Pilbara town is some 1500km north of the Perth suburb of Bedford, where authorities discovered the bodies.

Police allege Harvey spent several days in the house before heading north.

He is due to face sentencing next month at the West Australian Supreme Court, where he may receive life sentences for the killings.
