Oprah Confirms The Racist Comment Wasn’t From The Queen Or Philip So It’s Probs Who You Think It Is

Oprah Winfrey has confirmed that the royals who raised concerns about Archie’s skin colour were not the Queen or Prince Philip, so that narrows it down a fair bit.

We all knew that Monday’s interview with Meghan and Harry was going to be explosive, but it somehow managed to blow even my wildest expectations when the couple revealed that members of the family actually vocalised their “concerns” about how dark Archie’s skin colour would be.

Throughout the interview, the couple refused to name names out of fear that it “would be very damaging to them.”

Naturally, this sparked curiosity among viewers, who were quick to take to social media to make assumptions as to who made the awful comments.

However, Oprah has confirmed to CBS This Morning that it was not the Queen or Prince Philip, adding that even she doesn’t know who it was.

“[Harry] did not share the identity with me but he wanted to make sure that I knew and if I had an opportunity to share it that it was not his grandmother [the Queen] nor his grandfather [Prince Philip] that were a part of those conversations,” she said as she appeared on CBS This Morning.

“He did not tell me who were a part of those conversations,” she added.

I mean, if Oprah doesn’t even know who exactly said it, I don’t think any of us ever will. But by a process of elimination, there are only a few major royals left whose reputation would be damaged by an accusation like that.

Regardless of who exactly said it, it’s an abhorrent thing to say and personally, I think the couple are justified in their decision to yeet out of The Firm altogether if the racial allegations are true.

UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson refused to comment on the racism allegations, simply adding praise for the Queen when pressed by reporters.

“Perhaps the best thing I can say is that I have always had the highest admiration for the Queen and the unifying role she plays in our country and across the Commonwealth,” Johnson said.

“As for other matters to do with the royal family, I have spent a long time now not commenting on royal family matters and I don’t intend to depart from that today.”

The Palace is yet to make any formal comments regarding the interview.
