NSW Teens Charged After Allegedly Kidnapping Woman & Throwing Her Off A Bridge

Two women who forced a 19-year-old Campbelltown woman into the boot of a car before throwing her 30 metres from Windsor bridge into the Hawkesbury River have been charged with attempted murder and kidnapping.

The kidnapped woman was able to swim to safety and seek help at 5:00 am on Sunday morning, the 22nd of September and taken to Nepean Hospital for treatment. She had been allegedly held against her will since Saturday night.

Two women, one 17 years old and the other 19 years old, were arrested and charged with attempted murder, aggravated kidnapping, wounding a person with intent to cause grievous bodily harm, and robbery with wounding.

A third person, a 22-year-old man, was also arrested in relation to the crime after attending Windsor Police station a few hours later. He has been charged with attempted murder, detain for advantage in company, aggravated robbery and wound person with intent to cause grievous bodily harm.

The car that was believed to be used in the kidnapping – a Holden Commodore – was seized in Whalan by the Hawkesbury Local Area Command.

Both women were refused bail, with the 19-year-old due to appear in Penrith Local Court in November, and the 17-year-old to appear at a Children’s Court tomorrow.
