Here’s The Current NSW Coronavirus Watch List And What To Do If You’ve Visited Recently

NSW coronavirus hotspots are being added every day. To make life easier for you, we’ve rounded up the current restaurants and other locations where COVID-19 cases have been confirmed, and health authorities are advising patrons to take certain precautions and testing measures.

This will be a rolling list with regular updates. It is so important that you adhere to the advice and directions given – the only way to prevent an outbreak is to act quickly. Get tested, self isolate if you’re directed to, and do it all properly.

NSW COVID-19 hotspots, as of Wednesday, August 12

These venues are currently listed as locations where, if you were present on the dates below, you need to immediately get tested and self-isolate for 14 days from the date you were last there (so for example, if you went to The Apollo on the 23rd July, you need to self-isolate until the 6th August). This self-isolation period is mandatory, even if your test is negative.

Also, if you get a negative test but then develop symptoms, you need to go get re-tested.

  • Glebe: Jambo Jambo African Restaurant – 7pm to 10:30pm on Friday 31 July 2020
  • Hamilton: Bennett Hotel – 5:30pm to 10pm on Friday 31 July
  • Hamilton: Sydney Junction Hotel – 11pm on Saturday 1 August to 1:15am on Sunday 2 August
  • Huskisson: Wildginger – 7:45pm to 10:30pm on Saturday 8 August
  • Jesmond: Hotel Jesmond – 7pm to 9pm on Wednesday 29 July
  • Lambton: Lambton Park Hotel –8pm to 9pm on Thursday 30 July
  • New Lambton: Bar 88 at Wests New Lambton – 5pm to 7:15pm on Sunday 2 August
  • Newcastle: Hamilton to Adamstown Number 26 bus – 8:20am on Monday 3 August
  • Sydney: Burrow Bar – 9:45pm to midnight on Saturday, 1 August
    (If you were at this venue for two hours or more between 9:45pm and midnight, you must self-isolate and get tested and stay isolated until Saturday 15 August, even if the test is negative. If symptoms develop, get tested again.)
  • Wallsend: Wallsend Diggers – 9pm to 11pm on Wednesday 29 July, and 9pm to 11pm on Thursday 30 July

For these locations, you don’t need to self-isolate for 14 days, unless you develop symptoms of coronavirus. It’s important to monitor yourself and if you have any symptom, even mild, to get tested and self-isolate immediately.

  • Bankstown: BBQ City Buffet – 7pm to 8.30pm on Saturday 1 August
  • Broadmeadow: McDonald Jones Stadium – 7:30pm to the end of the Newcastle Jets match on Sunday 2 August
  • Campbelltown: Bunnings Warehouse – 11am to 7pm on Tuesday 4 August, 8am to 4pm on Wednesday 5 August, and 1pm to 3pm on Thursday 6 August
  • Canley Vale: Master Hot Pot – 1pm to 2pm on Saturday 1 August
  • Castle Hill: Castle Towers Shopping Centre – 3:30pm to 5pm on Friday 7 August
  • Cherrybrook: PharmaSave Cherrybrook Pharmacy in Appletree Shopping Centre – 4pm to 7pm on Thursday 6 August
  • Enmore: Warren View Hotel – 4pm to 4:20pm on Saturday 1 August
  • Fairfield: Neeta Shopping Centre (including the Soul Pattinson Chemist, Woolworths and Fresco Juice Bar) – Thursday 23 July to Thursday 30 July
  • Hamilton: Greenroof Bar Restaurant – 10:30pm on Friday 31 July to 12:15am on Saturday 1 August
  • Hamilton: Sushi Revolution – Noon to 12:45pm on Saturday 1 August
  • Lidcombe: Dooleys Lidcombe Catholic Club – 5pm on Friday 7 August to 1:30am on Saturday 8 August
  • Marrickville: Woolworths Marrickville Metro Shopping Centre – 7pm to 7:20pm on Sunday 2 August
  • Newcastle: Queens Wharf Hotel – 9:30pm to 11pm on Saturday 1 August
  • Parramatta: Westfield Parramatta – 4pm to 5:30pm on Wednesday 5 August, and 12pm to 1pm on Saturday 8 August
  • Pennant Hills: St Agatha’s –6:30 am to 7am on Wednesday 5 August, and 6:30 am to 7am on Thursday 6 August
  • Penrith: Baby Bunting – 1:15pm to 1:45pm on Saturday 8 August
  • Penrith: Penrith Plaza – 10:30am to 12pm Saturday 1 August
  • Redfern: The Eveleigh Hotel – 8:30pm to 10pm on Friday 31 July
  • Rhodes: IKEA – 1:20pm to 2:20pm on Saturday 8 August
