So no big deal or anything, but as the nation awoke, rubbed the schadenfreude from its eyes and pondered the momentous events of last night that saw Malcolm Turnbull replace Tony Abbott as Liberal leader, this happened:

An actual, literal rainbow appeared over Parliament House, right behind Karl Stefanovic and Lisa Wilkinson as they reported on the events of the morning on Today.
