The Main Suspect In The Nipsey Hussle Killing Has Been Charged With Murder

The man who police believe shot and killed LA rapper Nipsey Hussle earlier this week has been charged with murder and attempted murder.

Eric Holder, 29, is being held on $7 million bail and was charged by prosecutors on Thursday.

In total, the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office charged Holder with four counts, including being a felon in possession of a firearm. Two men who were also injured in the shooting have also been identified for the first time: Kerry Lathan and Shermi Cervabta Villanueva.

LAPD chief Michel Moore said that while both Hussle and Holder and previous gang affiliations it did not seem like that was a motive for the shooting.

Holder is facing the possibility of life in prison if he is convicted.
