New US ‘Bachie’ Season Canned Mid-Shoot After Alleged Hot Tub Incident

The new season of US Bachie spinoff Bachelor in Paradise has run into some, uh, trouble.
According to E! News, the show, which features contestants from previous seasons of The Bachelor and The Bachelorette shipped off to an island in the hopes of finding ~the one~ yet again, has been unexpectedly wrapped after “allegations of misconduct“.
The news has been corroborated by this fan spot of the entire crew at the airport:

??Was sad leaving Puerto Vallarta BUT THEN this happened at the airport!!?? Too FUN!! #thebachelor #thebachelorette #bachelornation I wish I would’ve seen Chad though!! #TheChadBear #WellArmed4Life

The statement from Warner Bros. does not shed much more light on the matter:

“We have become aware of allegations of misconduct on the set of Bachelor in Paradise in Mexico. We have suspended production and we are conducting a thorough investigation of these allegations. Once the investigation is complete, we will take appropriate responsive action.”
However, Amy Kaufman, a journalist who’s currently writing a book on The Bachelor, has provided some Very Interesting Tweets that might point to what’s actually going on.

So… a producer on notorious snog-fest The Bachelor saw a couple “getting raunchy” in a hot tub and chucked a hissy fit?
That seems… weird.

Though there are apparently rumours circulating that there may have been an issue regarding intoxication and consent, which if true would make the whole thing a lot clearer – and a lot more serious.
Reality TV, my friends! Look upon the chaos we have wrought, and despair.
