Neil Young Isn’t Impressed Donald Trump Used His Song For His Campaign

We have to keep repeating this, you see, as we don’t entirely believe it ourselves yet: Donald Trump is running for the Presidency of the United States

RIdiculous. Almost as ridiculous as Trump’s campaign speech, which was essentially a very long explanation of how large his bank account is, and how many thing he can pay for that you can’t.
Unfortunately, it seems like Trump’s pockets weren’t quite big enough to spring for the rights to use Neil Young‘s track, ‘Rockin’ in the Free World‘, the ditty to which he walked on stage before his campaign speech.
To make matters worse, Neil Young isn’t exactly one of Trump’s biggest fans. In fact, Neil Young is on the completely opposite side of the political fence. His manager made a statement today, saying,

“Donald Trump’s use of “Rockin’ in the Free World” was not authorised. Mr. Young is a longtime supporter of Bernie Sanders.”

Yeeeeeesh.
