Natalie Joyce Reckons Barnaby & Vikki Campion Stole Their Baby Name

Natalie JoyceBarnaby Joyce‘s separated wife, who left the politician after it was revealed he was fathering a child with former staffer Vikki Campion – is all over the news today after her tell-all interview was published via Australian Women’s Weekly in their July issue.

It’s full of juicy, savage takes on what went down, but one that’s really had folks gasping is her accusation that Barnaby and Vikki used the baby name Barnaby and NATALIE always loved.

Apparently the couple, who have four daughters together, always loved the name Sebastian and planned to use it if they were ever to have a boy.

“It felt like another malicious taunt in a very long line of appalling behaviour,” she told The Australian Women’s Weekly.

She also revealed that she asked Barnaby to return to their Tamworth home rather than be with Vikki.

“I asked him to come home. He said, ‘I can’t, she’s pregnant and I have to be there for my son.’ He always wanted a boy and, while the girls really are the epicentre of his universe, we had no chance: she was giving him a son.”

Natalie also recalls the moment she confronted Vikki, before the pregnancy was announced and the affair went public.

“I was very measured. I didn’t raise my voice. She and Barney were smoking outside. He bolted when he saw me. I turned to her and said, ‘My husband is out of bounds, off-limits, he’s a married man with four children,’ and then I called her a home-wrecking wh—. It was not one of my finer moments but, looking back, I’m proud I stood up to her.”

The full interview is in the July issue of Australian Women’s Weekly, on sale now.
