MS Sufferer’s Photo Goes Viral After Some Dickhead Leaves This Note On Her Car


If you needed your daily reminder that there’s some absolute cruel dickheads out there, here it is. 

A devastating Facebook post from South Australian woman Justine Van Den Borne, who has Multiple Sclerosis, has gone viral.
She returned to her car after shopping at Mitcham Shopping Centre in SA’s south, and to her absolute horror, found this rude and insensitive note placed on her windshield, right next to her disability parking permit. 
In case you’re in the dark on what MS is: 
Multiple Sclerosis is a deteriorative auto-immune disease; MS Australia states that it is ‘a condition of the central nervous system, interfering with nerve impulses within the brain, spinal cord and optic nerves’. Symptoms range from weakness, lack of functioning limbs, fatigue, depression, cognitive difficulties, and much more. While there are different types of MS, Ms Van Den Borne stated in her post that she has ‘the worst one’, meaning that she suffers from severe symptoms. MS is currently incurable, and MS Australia believes that there is currently approximately 23,000 Aussies who have it. 
She posted the note on Facebook, saying that before seeing the note she was having a “good day” walking around the shops with her daughter, and that she is currently trying to focus on “walking into her friends wedding next month, rather than having to be pushed.”

Just a heads up, if for some reason you’ve taken it upon yourself to be the parking police: not everyone with a disability is in a wheelchair. Check the permit if you must; but laying down judgement and offensive notes for what you believe constitutes ‘a disability’ makes you a total dick.
