Confirming this already very solid theory, the 36-year-old ‘Brokeback Mountain’/’My Week With Marilyn’/’Lassie’ (?!?) actor has announced that her ‘Dawson’s Creek’ co-star and BFF Busy Philipps is the undisputed love of her life.
Williams brought her platonic life-partner to a New York screening of her new film ‘Manchester By The Sea’ earlier this week, where she told a journo that:
“I’m here with my best friend. I’m so in love with her.“She’s proof that the love of your life does not have to be a man. That’s the love of my life right there.”
First of all, aww.
Second of all, obviously the love of your life does not have to be a man. I am both a man and bisexual, and let me tell you, men are by and large very terrible people (come at me, commenters).
But all hilarious kidding aside, the couple are an incredibly beautiful example of platonic love. Philipps, who’s starred in cult hits like ‘Freaks and Geeks’ and ‘Cougar Town,’ is also the godmother to Williams’ daughter Matilda.
She also included a side-by-side image of the two from their ‘Dawson’s Creek’ heydays in a recent Instagram post, where she both reaffirmed their love for each other and revealed the truth behind those amazing fkn outfits.
True love, gang. Turns out it does exist.
