Well, we’ve certainly had a fun year here, haven’t we. We’ve shared some laughs. We’ve seen some stuff that’s made us think. We’ve lived, and learned, and grown.
And now with the most festive day of the year upon us, we’ve got a little time to reflect. Reflect on where we were 12 months ago. Reflect on how far we’ve come since. And ponder where we’re going in the next 12.
Also, it’s a time to drink wine. Many, many wine.
It’s time to hang out with your near and dear, and let them all know you’re so glad that they exist (even if they might roll their eyes at this).
Then of course there’s the gift giving (and receiving, which is similarly rad)…
…the food – oh, sweet merciful CRAP, the food…
…the glorious, delirious, life-affirming naps…
…and did we mention the drinking?
But, all that aside, make sure to keep an eye out for anyone you know who might be struggling at this time of year. And maybe spare a thought – or a spare dollarydoo or two – for those less fortunate than you.
It’s the most wonderful time of the year. And everyone should be able to enjoy it, no matter what.
So no matter what walk of like you come from, enjoy yourself! And from all of us here, from the bottom of our hearts, have a Merry Christmas, a Happy Chanukah, a Craaaaazy Kwanzaa, a Tip Top Tet, and a Solemn, Dignified Ramadan.
