Melbourne Copped An Incredible Sunrise That Only Morning Kids Will Remember

Melbourne folk, if you happened to chuck a little extra snooze this morning, you missed the sky putting on an absolute show.

A string of clear winter days in the Victorian capital has this morning culminated in a sunrise for the ages, with the city bathed in glorious red and orange light for a full ten minutes as the ole’ globe slowly rolled over once again.

Instagram and Twitter feeds lit up – pun absolutely intended – with shots of the magnificent vista. It’s sky porn in its purest form, and it’s a damned nice time.
