Former Spice Girls singer Mel B is currently under police investigation for allegedly assaulting a male model, TMZ reports.
According to law enforcement sources, Dujuan Thomas, the model who was allegedly attacked by the singer, filed a report on Sunday with the LAPD, claiming that Mel hit him in the chest after a hotel fashion show the night before.
Photos released by TMZ show Dujuan walking the runway and Mel watching in the audience.
Dujuan reportedly ran into Mel backstage and asked her for a selfie and she initially obliged. When he didn’t like the photo, he asked for another one and that’s when Mel allegedly hit him in the chest with her right hand.
The police source adds that Dujuan claims he ran into Mel again later that night and when she recognised him, she punched him in the chest once again.

Dujuan did not report any injuries and did not require medical attention following the alleged attack but the case is still under investigation and will eventually be brought to the L.A. City Attorney, who will determine if they want to prosecute the matter.
Since the news was first reported, a source close to Mel denied that she struck Dujuan. Mel reportedly agreed to take a selfie with the model and he continued to follow her around the hotel but she never hit him.
The singer’s team is said to be looking into possible legal action.
