Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are getting married on May 19, and UK tabloids seem to be writing at least 65,000 stories per day about them in the lead-up. Which is okay by me, because for some reason I am just obsessed with these two and want to know everything about the impending nuptials. I can’t help it, I’m a romantic okay?
The latest news from Ol’ Blighty is that Megs and Harry have run into some trouble over their choice of wedding venue, which sounds like something all my engaged friends have complained to me over a wine about at some point in their wedding planning process.
Express reports that although the couple were initially set on the very elegant Frogmore House (which sounds like something JK Rowling came up with, tbh) it was “vetoed by royal aides”.
HOW DARE.
Apparently they loved Frogmore, which was where the cute-as couple had their cute-as engagement shoot and is described by the tabloid as a “large white stately home with an air of grandeur”. And doesn’t everyone deserve a little grandeur on their big day?

As a way to say thank you, they have decided to share this candid photograph from the day of their portrait sittings directly with all of you. pic.twitter.com/MROyiKWEnG

Well, the pair are copping an even more grandiose affair at Windsor Castle, which is where they were encouraged to have the wedding instead. According to Express, it was all down to a size issue – and apparently Frogmore just ain’t big enough for a wedding of this scale.
Look, we’re sure it’s pretty and all that, but you wouldn’t exactly say no to Windsor bloody Castle, would you?
We’re not the only ones frothing on the upcoming royal wedding. We asked rapper Genesis Osuzu for his take on it, and made him come up with a song in just one hour. Check it out below:
