Prep Yr Happy Tears, Here’s The Exact Timings Of Meghan & Harry’s Wedding

Meghan Markle Orince Harry Wedding Time Australia

It’s less than 100 days until Prince Harry marries Meghan Markle on May 19, people, so it’s bloody well time to get organised. Thankfully, Palace officials have just released some helpful details about the big day, which I have jumped on with much enthusiasm.

I’m excited about this wedding, okay? No need to judge me on this one. It’s good wholesome fun.

The most important piece of intel revealed today is the time of the wedding, which is necessary information so I know when to put my TV on and cry with joy.

It’s been announced that the wedding will take place at 12pm UK time on Saturday May 19, that means by my calculations (meaning, check it yourself because I am easily confused) that it will kick off at 9pm Saturday May 19 for us Aussies. So really, just whack your telly on any time before that, because you know there will be loads of coverage all the live long day.

Other tidbits released by officials: once they are newlyweds, Meghan and Harry will go on a horse-drawn carriage ride around the streets of Windsor. Imagine all the happy faces waving British and American flags that day, would you? It’s going to be SO CUTE.

As for the man who has the great honour of marrying the loved-up pair? That would be the Archbishop of Canterbury, The Most Reverend and Right Honourable Justin Welby. (What a title, huh?)

While he’ll do the actual marriage bit, the service at St. George’s Chapel will be led by The Right Reverend David Conner, the Dean of Windsor. Team work makes the dream work, after all.

After their romantic carriage ride, there will be a reception for the 800 wedding guests at St George’s Hall.

After that, Prince Charles is apparently holding an after-party for the couple, which we’re guessing is the part where everyone takes off their fancy hats and dances to Despacito.

I’m patiently awaiting my invite in the mail.
