Meet The Winners Of The 2012 Pedestrian Photography Awards

Last night we hit the sprawling timber deck over Wylie’s Baths in Coogee to announce the winners of the 2012 Pedestrian.tv Photography Awards presented by Lipton Ice Tea + Contiki. An extremely attractive crowd enjoyed epic water views while browsing the amazing shots by all the Photography Award finalists and tasty refreshments courtesy of Lipton Ice Tea, before it was time to reveal the winners.

A panel of Pedestrian’s Editorial team and Directors selected the finalists, and the overall winner and category winners were hand picked by RANKIN, world renown photographer and cofounder of Dazed & Confused and visually stunning bi-annual tome The Hunger. Let’s meet the winners.

MUSIC Category – presented by Ben Sherman; WINNER: AMY ROBINSON
Amy on her winning image: “This was taken only a few hours before the gates opened on Secret Garden Festival 2012. We had 16 hours of rain, thunder and lightening non-stop, but it was still amazing.”

Mitchell on his winning image: “Alexandra Tikerpuu at IMG Models, taken this year in NY.”

We also congratulate the Category winners, and thank all of the insanely talented photographers who submitted entries this year. We look forward to seeing a new year’s worth of extraordinary photographic talent on show in 2013.
