Marco Pierre White Left ‘MasterChef’ Over A Real-Life Biff With Matt Preston

While we’re all patiently waiting for something actually interesting to happen on the new season of ‘MasterChef Australia‘ so our recapping can recommence, there’s ACTUAL DRAMA happening in the world of celebrity cooking and it’s so good we can barely handle it.
Marco Pierre White, who is a wholly terrifying man who I would not even dream of crossing, sensationally left the series this year in favour of a plum new gig on the upcoming Seven Network series ‘Hell’s Kitchen Australia,’ where he will be making hopeful chefs shit themselves at a rate far greater than Gordon Ramsey could ever dream of achieving.
As it turns out, the reason behind White leaving MasterChef isn’t so much one fuelled by literal piles of money, but rather one spurred on by a furious, burning rage.
White, you see, would very much like to bash Matt Preston.
I repeat: Marco Pierre White wants to “get” Matt By-God Preston.
The biff between Preston and White stems from the fact that Preston said some rather lukewarm things about White’s son, Marco Pierre White Jr.
Marco Pierre White Jr, who almost definitely fucked someone on live British TV and appears on a Getty Photo search with this incredible caption…
…recently admitted he’d spent around $500,000 of his father’s money on drugs and sex workers. Presumably there’s a chunk of change in there for some more bad tattoos, but that’s neither here nor there.
Preston, in an interview with Kyle & Jackie O back in June of last year, discussed the issue of the Junior Marco and somewhat sympathised with the Senior Marco.

“I think it is that terrible thing when you have kids that go off the rails, how do you deal with it? I don’t know. I don’t think Marco has a solution, I don’t think anyone has a solution.”

“Anyone who has tattoos on their face they normally behave badly don’t they? They have kind of crossed through a barrier at that point.”

“That’s that whole rich, London trust fund babe, trustifarian-type stuff – it’s another world.”

Skipping over the fact that “trustifarian” is an *incredible* turn of phrase, it would appear that it’s these words that have sent Marco Senior into a violent, network-hopping rage.

Speaking to Channel Ten newsreader Rebecca Morse, Marco told her he left ‘MasterChef‘ more or less purely because of Preston’s comments. His reaction is ah… look, it’s ominous.

“The things he said about my son in the British press were disgraceful. No one should ever say that about someone else’s children. I will never forgive that man.”

“With my hand on my mother’s grave I will get that man.”

SWEET MERCIFUL CRAP.
In response, Preston has already attempted to downplay the situation, indicating that a peace meeting has already been organised.

“I have the greatest respect for Marco Pierre White having had a professional relationship with Marco for the past five years. Marco has already reached out to me to organise a sit down to clear the air.”

Matt, if a bloke asserts he’s going to “get” you and then reaches out to you to organise a meeting, he’s not keen to kiss and make up, he’s going to rock up swinging a medieval flail.

Marco Pierre White. Not just a scary man on-screen, as it turns out.
