A grown-ass man in the US state of Michigan has filed a lawsuit against his own parents over what he alleges is the unlawful disposal of an extremely large collection of physical porn.

The unnamed man, from neighbouring Indiana, reportedly moved back in with his parents in Michigan following a divorce in 2016.
After living there for 10 months, he moved out again, into a new house in Muncie, Indiana, around four hours away from his parents’ residence in Grand Rapids.
But when his dear old Mum and Dad delivered his things to the new home, the man claims 12 – TWELVE – boxes of porn was missing. Boxes that included magazines and actual videos, including such illustrious titles as “Frisky Business” and “Big Bad Grannys.”
That truly outrageous collection, the man alleges, carries a value of around US$29,000 (or AUD$40,448). How you’d actually go about valuing a collection of that ah… magnitude… the mind boggles really. Do you call in an expert? Is there someone out there whose job it is to put dollar values on rare dick flicks? Is “Porn Valuer” a viable career option? A lotta questions here, folks.
The man initially tried to file criminal charges with police, but local authorities refused to give it the time of day, so instead old mate has gone ahead and sued his dang parents for chucking out his mammoth pile of filth.
The lawsuit filed includes an email excerpt in which his Dad reportedly tells his large adult son, “I did you a big favour by getting rid of all this stuff.” Presumably because Dad is either a) very religious, or b) aware that the internet exists where porn is free as shit.
Regardless, the unidentified man remains absolutely filthy with his parents for turfing the truly absurd amount of porn, and is suing them not just for the supposed value of it, but for three times its value: US$87,000, or around AUD$121,000.
