Italian newspaper Il Gazzettino has reported that a Padua court has ruled in favour of a divorced dad who pays child support in the form of pizza.

As the story goes, the 50-year-old Italian man was originally ordered to pay €300 a month in alimony to the couple’s daughter. But instead of coughing up hard, cold cash, the man (a professional pizza chef by trade) decided to make the payments via pizza.
Though it sounds like a thin-crust, cheesy dream to many, it pissed his ex-wife roiiiiiight off, so she took the man to court, accusing him of non-payment.
The judge said Marianaaaaaaahra, and ruled in favour of the pizza putzo, saying his “culinary creations” are a valid form of payment since as he doesn’t earn enough to provide cash dollars.
